Энэ ангилалд Flatpyramid you will find different 3D models that usually were created with AutoCAD, these 3D models have .DXF file format.
DXF (Drawing eXchange Format) is an open file format for sharing graphical information between CAD applications. It was created by the Autodesk company for the AutoCAD system.
AutoCAD and specialized applications on its basis have found wide application in mechanical engineering, construction, architecture and other branches of industry. The program is available in 18 languages. The level of localization varies from full adaptation to the translation of only the reference documentation.
Supported by almost all CAD systems on the PC platform.
DXF was firstly introduced in December 1982 as part of AutoCAD 1.0 as a data exchange format that provides the same information as the AutoCAD indoor DWG format, a specification that has never been provided. On the Autodesk website, you can find specifications for all versions of DXF, starting with AutoCAD Release 13 (November 1994). Starting with AutoCAD Release 10 (October 1988), in addition to the DXF text version, the binary version is also supported – DXB.
As AutoCAD became more and more complex and supported increasingly complex types of objects, DXF became less and less useful. New objects in the format specifications were not described completely or were not described at all. Most commercial application developers, including Autodesk competitors, use the DWG format as the main format for sharing with AutoCAD, through the libraries provided by the Open Design Alliance, a non-profit organization that has DWG backward development.
However, for most practical applications, newly-entered objects, such as 3D extensions, are not necessary. For example, according to the requirement of ESKD, a drawing of any product is a two-dimensional contour image. Therefore, DXF hasn’t disappeared, but has become de facto one of the two standards for vector images in the open operating systems and applications (the second standard is SVG). For example, it supports the Inkscape vector graphic editor, and for CAD QCad, the DXF format is the basic one.
The popularity of AutoCAD in the world is due to advanced development and adaptation tools that allow it’s users to customize the system to the specific needs and significantly expand the functionality of the core system. A large set of application development tools makes the basic version of AutoCAD a platform for application development . On the basis of AutoCAD, Autodesk and third-party vendors have built a large number of specialized applications such as AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Architecture, GeoniCS, Promis-e, PLANT-4D, AutoPLANT, GraphicCS, MechaniCS, GEOBRIDGE, SAPR, Rubius Electric Suite and others.
